Golf the Coast of Maine, the DVD, explores every nook and cranny of Maine’s rugged coastline
and discovers the great golf that is offered along the way. With stunning photography and breathtaking
aerials, you’ll tee it up at some of the most historic, beautiful and unique golf courses found anywhere
in New England. As you meander along almost 300 miles of coastline, you’ll also sample the flavor and
atmosphere of the seaside towns and villages of the nations northeastern most corner.
The journey begins in the south coastal town of York, at one of the newer courses, The Ledges, and
ends at an old classic course that borders Canada called St. Croix.
The DVD is comprised of five chapters described below.
Chapter 1. is an in-depth history of coastal golf in Maine. Seaside golf is how it all began in Maine and
with the help of rare old photographs and interviews with Maine golf professionals, historians and local
golf legends, you’ll witness how golf evolved into Maine’s own unique brand.
